Join Planina for a celebration of the group’s 2018 cultural exploration in Bulgaria with an evening of new songs from the trip, favorites from the current repertoire, photographs, guest artists, and more.
Members of Planina journeyed to Bulgaria last July and studied with singers and instrumentalists in three different villages, giving a few performances of our own along the way. We witnessed the remarkable beauty of the country and its people, experienced exquisite Balkan hospitality, and participated in feast after feast of Bulgarian music. Now you, too, can share in this musical exchange.
